“Picture This.. A Day in the Life of Rockland.”

Grab your Camera and be part of making history in Rockland on Saturday October 6th.

“Picture This.. A Day in the Life of Rockland.” is a fundraiser for Rockland Main Street Inc’s Community Events including Festival of Lights, The Lobster Trap Tree and Summer Solstice. The event will challenge local and visiting photographers document life in Rockland during a nine hour period in one day. 

"This is a great opportunity for photographers of all experience levels and ages, a fun family event." said Lorain Francis, Executive Director of Rockland Main Street, Inc. "Seeing Rockland through the eyes of the community and children makes for an amazing show"

Event Central is Yvette Torres / Fine Art on Winter Street.
Start and finish there for registration, photo exhibits and the reception.
The timing for the day will be a photo shoot in Rockland from 7AM – 4PM at your leisure,
reception from 6 – 8 PM.

Return to Yvette Torres/Fine Art during the day of the event for printing location information if needed, to download your printed photo for the slide show and to hang your printed photo,
All photos must be 8X10. We will be accepting photos and downloads all day. Basic event participation is $15, plus your cost to print your photo ( home, or local printers ). Printed photos become the property of Rockland Main Street, Inc., but the image is yours.

This is a great opportunity for participant’s photographs to be shown at our reception, be included in a revolving slide show, and sold at the reception all to benefit Rockland Main Street, Inc’s events.
All photos will sell for $25.00, un matted in a 8X10 Sleeve with a backing board (provided).

Rockland Main Street, Inc. is a nationally accredited Main Street organization, taking the lead to keep downtown the heart of the community.
