Foxcroft, Maine - Forrest Law’s towering double with one out in the bottom of the 8th inning scored Cody Coiley, completing a comeback from three runs down and delivering Foxcroft Academy a thrilling walk-off 4-3 win over Ellsworth at FA Tuesday afternoon. Coiley started the rally with a ringing double into the left-field corner, his third hit of the afternoon, and Law also ripped a two-out, two-run single in the fifth to score Caleb Richard and Hunter Law and knot the game at 3.

The Eagles scored all three of their runs on Dustin Smelley’s bases-clearing double with two outs in the top of the third. The Ponies cut the lead to 3-1 in the fourth when Luke Olson singled through the left side to score Coiley with two outs.

The Ponies will host MDI in a quarterfinal matchup on Thursday at 2:00.
