1st Annual Rockland FrostFest Announces Program February 15th Outdoor Festival at Harbor Park

Rockland Maine - Rockland FrostFest is Saturday, February 15th, 11-4pm at Harbor Park. Launched by 10-year old nonprofit Rockland Main Street, Inc., the first-annual festival is designed for all ages, free and open to the public.

“A variety of community groups have
committed to the programming and logistics,” confirmed event organizers Sierra Dietz and Fred Newcomb. “FrostFest will be a day for young and old to enjoy fun and games, while connecting with friends and neighbors in the heart of Rockland.”

Intended to be a "cabin fever" breaker of sorts, the event’s program will include figure skating demos on the Harbor Park ice rink, a hot cocoa bar, horse-and-carriage rides, fire pits, a public free skate session, games supplied by Rockland Rotary, an ice hockey demo, a raffle drawing for a generator, and more. Participating organizations include Rockland’s Rec Center, Rockland Public Library, Rockland Lobster Festival, Rockland Rotary, and others. Sponsors of Rockland FrostFest are Rockland Lobster Festival, Brooks Trap Mill, Camden National Bank and others.
