“Crafternoons” at the Blue Hill Public Library

BLUE HILL, Maine — Kids of all ages are invited to "Crafternoons" on Saturday, January 25th at 1:00 PM. This month, local Brooksville artist Susan Barrett Merrill will be leading a workshop on weaving friendship bracelets on a three ring binder. All materials will be provided.

Susan Barrett Merrill is a fiber artist located in Brooksville, Maine. Her artwork has been exhibited across the United States and internationally, including her Zati masks, which are hand-woven fiber sculpture masks.

“Crafternoons” is on the last Saturday of each month from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. There will be a different craft project each month, and no experience is needed. Children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by a caregiver at least 12 years of age. For more information, call Claire at the library at 374-5515.
