A Trip to the Arctic

Camden/Rockport, MaineWildlife photographer Carla Skinder will showcase photos of wildlife, birds, and landscapes of the Arctic at Merryspring Nature Center on Tuesday, January 21 at 12:00 pm.

Join Carla on a trip above the arctic circle. This colorful slideshow will feature birds, mammals, marine life, and landscapes of the arctic taken on her journey in late 2019. Along the way, Carla will tell interesting stories about the people and places she met along the way.

Skinder is an amateur wildlife photographer who has traveled the world capturing nature. She is a retired nurse who has relocated to midcoast Maine and currently serves on the Merryspring board of trustees.

This lecture is part of the Winter Talk series at Merryspring, sponsored by Allen Insurance and Financial. Admission to Tuesday talks is $5, with free admission for members of Merryspring.

Merryspring is your community nature center offering walking trails, cultivated gardens, wildlife, and ecology and horticulture educational programs all year round.
