Casco Bay Bridge Down to One Lane Northbound

South Portland, Maine - The Casco Bay Bridge, linking Portland and South Portland over the Fore River, will be down to one lane northbound on Tuesday, June 9th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Crews will be performing electrical work on new lights that have been installed on the sidewalk over the bascule area (the bridge opening). This will increase visibility of pedestrians for the draw tenders in the evening hours as well as in heavy fog.

Motorists may experience slight delays traveling from South Portland into Portland while this work is being performed.
