Hallowell, Maine - The Harlow Gallery’s Education Committee hosts SECOND SUNDAYS, a monthly series of free community art-making events sponsored by The Bank of Maine.
On Sunday, June 14th from 2-4pm we’re going to map Hallowell, inspired by Becky Cooper’s book “Mapping Manhattan”. Map your memories, dreams, history, path – it’s up to you! All ages welcome. We’ll be using a map of Hallowell designed by Chris Cart and printed by the Hallowell Board of Trade last year. Finished maps will be displayed in one of the gallery windows in July (If you wish, it’s optional!). If you cannot come on Second Sunday, you can still be in the mini-show, stop by for a map and map YOUR Hallowell.
Mark your calendars and look forward to activities on the second Sunday of every month at the Harlow Gallery, located at 160 Water Street Hallowell, Maine. These events bring artists and art lovers together to enjoy the process of making art as well as looking at art and discussing it. Most events are perfect for families, and all are welcome. Children under 10 MUST be accompanied by an adult. These sessions take place every 2nd Sunday from 2 to 4 pm at the Harlow Gallery, and are free and open to the public. Some materials are provided, but participants are encouraged to bring their own as well. Let’s get creative!
Donations and sponsors to support gallery programs like Second Sundays are welcome. The Harlow Gallery is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, and your gift is fully tax deductible in accordance with current tax law. If you have an idea for a future Second Sunday event, please email us at kvaa@harlowgallery.org.
STAY TUNED FOR THE NEW SCHEDULE OF "SECOND SUNDAY" EVENTS.
