Severe Thunderstorm Watch Issued For Maine This Afternoon 2:30pm-7pm

Maine - The state of Maine is under a severe thunderstorm watch from around 2:30 this afternoon until 7pm tonight, Thursday, May 28th, 2015.

     SCATTERED DAMAGING WIND GUSTS TO 65 MPH POSSIBLE
     ISOLATED LARGE HAIL EVENTS TO 1 INCH IN DIAMETER POSSIBLE

   SUMMARY...THUNDERSTORMS HAVE BEGUN TO DEVELOP ACROSS WESTERN NEW
   ENGLAND...AHEAD OF AN ADVANCING COLD FRONT.  DAMAGING WINDS WILL
   BECOME A THREAT AS STORMS ORGANIZE/MATURE THIS AFTERNOON...AND SHIFT
   EASTWARD ACROSS THE WATCH AREA.

   THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH AREA IS APPROXIMATELY ALONG AND 65
   STATUTE MILES EAST AND WEST OF A LINE FROM 25 MILES NORTHWEST OF
   HOULTON MAINE TO 60 MILES SOUTH SOUTHWEST OF POUGHKEEPSIE NEW
