Owls Head Transportation Museum to host dual gathering of Lincoln Owners Club and Lincoln Zephyr Owners Club

Owls Head, Maine - The Owls Head Transportation Museum is pleased to welcome the Lincoln Owners Club and Lincoln Zephyr Owners Club to the Museum on May 30. The visit coincides with the Museum’s first outdoor car and airplane show of the season, the annual Spring Auto Show.  Though the Spring Auto Show is a two-day event (May 30 and May 31), the two clubs will attend on Saturday, May 30 only.

Between the Lincoln Owners Club and Lincoln Zephyr Owners Club, more than 40 cars are expected from points all of the United States and Canada, including some of the oldest Lincolns in existence. Highlights will include a 1921 Lincoln Touring Car and a 1921 Lincoln limousine, as well as an assortment of 1930s custom-bodied vehicles by coachbuilders including Dietrich and LeBaron.
Additionally, the Museum is excited to welcome special guest David Schultz on May 30. Schultz is currently the Chief Judge of the Amelia Island Concours d’Elegance, past president of the CCCA (2012-2013), and current president of the Lincoln Motor Car Foundation that recently created the Lincoln Motor Car Heritage Museum located on the Michigan campus of the Gilmore Car Museum. Schultz will join the Lincoln Owners Club and Lincoln Zephyr Owners Club and will discuss the history and heritage of the Lincoln marque.

The group will be in Mid Coast Maine Thursday, May 28 through Sunday, May 31 enjoying the local scenery, touring local roads, sailing and participating in OHTM’s Spring Auto Show.
All pre-1995 vehicles and organized clubs are invited to exhibit at the Spring Auto Show, and vehicles from the Museum’s collection will be demonstrated throughout the weekend. Weather permitting, an antique airplane show featuring planes from the Museum’s collection will also occur on both Saturday and Sunday.

Event admission is $16 for adults and, as always, children under 18 and retired and active duty military personnel are admitted to the Museum and show free of charge. Refreshments catered by French & Brawn Catering and Market Place will be available for purchase at the Caboose during both days of the show. No pets are allowed in the Museum or on show grounds.

The Owls Head Transportation Museum is located at 117 Museum Street in Owls Head, Maine. The Museum is open seven days a week, year round.
