OnProcess Technology Extends North America Footprint to Belfast, Maine

Strong demand for supply chain pioneer’s managed services spurs need for additional capacity
Belfast, Maine - OnProcess Technology, a global pioneer in service supply chain management and optimization, today announced it is expanding its North America footprint to Belfast, Maine to handle growing demand from Fortune 50 wireless, broadband, technology and medical clients. OnProcess, which doubled its global workforce in 2014 to more than 2,200 people, will have capacity for an additional 350 employees in its Belfast service delivery center.

“I’m pleased to welcome OnProcess Technology to Maine,” said Governor Paul R. LePage. “Like many leading, global companies, OnProcess will find Maine, and in particular Belfast, a great place to grow. With an excellent workforce in the area, our extensive investments in technology, transportation and energy infrastructure, as well as significant support for business – not to mention our state’s wonderful quality of life – Maine is working hard to show we are open for business.”

“Our managed services business has been growing steadily, thanks to the volume of companies turning to OnProcess to improve their post-sales customer experiences and reduce costs,” said Ed Barry, CEO of OnProcess Technology. “As a Massachusetts-based company, we wanted to expand in New England, and Belfast was the ideal location. Not only were we attracted by Belfast’s vibrant business community and highly skilled workforce, its proximity to major universities, several of which have supply chain curricula, also make the area great for recruiting employees. With the help of Maine & Company, the support of the Maine government, and the great local cooperation and support from the City of Belfast, we were able to secure a facility that meets all our capacity, commutability and environment needs.”

"Maine & Company has been privileged to work with OnProcess Technology over the past year. The level of cooperation from the state and local partners has been extraordinary,” said Peter DelGreco, President and CEO, Maine & Company. “We are excited for OnProcess Technology's growth plans and the work environment they will create. This is a fast growing, energetic company that we are thrilled to welcome to Maine's business community."

OnProcess will be hiring its first 50 full- and part-time employees during the next two months in positions ranging from entry-level agents to managerial roles.
