Portland, Maine - The Portland Public Library continues to offer classes for computer beginners who would like to learn computer basics. Basic Computer Training II will be held on every other Wednesday in January and February from 5:00-6:00pm. The Workshops are free but registration is required.
This class is designed for people who know the most basic computer skills (can operate a mouse, use a keyboard), but would like help learning how to do more with the computer such as format word documents and utilize Internet websites.
There is limited space available for each of these trainings and participants must register in advance at the Library’s Public Computing desk, by calling 871-1700 ext. 708, or by emailing Chance@portlib.org.
