Rockland, Maine - The Oceanside lady mariners hosted the Belfast lions in a junior varsity and varsity matches on Wednesday, December 10th in Rockland, Maine. These two to much for the Belfast lions as Oceanside lady mariner were able to over power them.In the junior varsity match Oceanside was able to win by a score of 55-25. Players from Oceanside that were able to score are Jenna Conanet 4, Bri White-Ortiz 4, Jillian Brooks 16, Sierra Beal 2, Gabby Simmons 6, Haley M. 6, Alexis M. 3, Kaylee McCorrison 6 and Elise L. with 8 points. Belfast lions players were able to score are M. Gale 2, K. King 3, Emma M. 6, R. Luthes 6, J. Haitman 4 and number 11 with 4 points.
Oceanside lady mariners were able to win the varsity match by an impressive score 72-25. Players
that helped the lady mariners win this varsity match were Ashley Gardner 4, Caitlin Raye 3, Kalyn Grover 7, Lily Vachon 7, Payton Billingsley 9, Emily Gould was on fire with scoring 22 points, Haley M. 1, Alexis M. 6, and 12 points for Brianna Dugan. Belfast lions scorers were Vanessa G. 2, Hannah Nicholes 5, Maddie L. 2, Anna Simmons 2, Kelci F. 2, Kaltin G. 2, M. Sturois 7 and 3 points for R. Knowlton.
Oceanside had an impressive night with winning both matches while each team showed great team work.
