Rockland, Maine - What a night for the Boys and Girls Varsity teams as they were able to pull off two get wins. Medomak Valley was hosted by Oceanside in Rockland, Maine on December 22nd, 2014.In the Girls Varsity match Medomak won by a score of 47 to 36. Medomak scorers were Maggie Cox 8, Gabby DePatsy 2, Sophie Cohen 6, Hannah Heald 6, Justice Barrows 6 and their top score was Hannah Marks with 18 points.
Oceanside players that were
able to score against Medomak are Ashley Gardner 1, Kayln Grover 3, Alexis Davis 4, MaKenna Brooks 2, Payton Billingsley 6, Emily Gould 10 and Brianna Dugan with 10 points. The Oceanside Girls players played a great game despite not being able to pull off a win against Medomak.
Varsity Boys match saw Medomak again being able to pull off a win by a score of 60 to 43. Nick DePatsy helped his team a lot by scoring 19 points, Other scorers for Medomak were Jackson Vail 5, Noah Beck 2, Micah Williamson 10, Colton Spear 12, Zach Starr 1, Zidane McMurrin 1 and Cameron Allaire with 10 points.
Players for Oceanside that were able to score against Medomak are Jerrod Leonardi 5, Nick Mazurek 10, Zach Peaco 2, Nate Raye 3, Eli Thorbjornson 9 and Keenan Hendricks with 14 points. Oceanside Boys had a great showing during the Varsity match up with Medomak.
The gym was packed with Medomak and Oceanside fans rooting their team onto victory. Overall it was a great night of Basketball court action.
