UPDATED: Thomaston Super Walmart January 5th Bomb Threat

Thomaston, Maine - Yesterday about 4:10PM. It was reported that a employee of wal-Mart had received a phone call stating that there was a bomb in the building. He then received a second call stating that "they" are bringing more bombs and will shoot everyone in the parking lot. Following store protocol, the building was evacuated. Shoppers left the area, employees's assembled in a pre designated area. All were accounted for. The employee that received the call stated that in the back ground of the phone call he could hear what appeared to sound like young people laughing. The number was traced back to Florida, as what was similar in The November incident. However it was a Voice over internet call, we are unable to see where it originated from.

Thomaston Fire, Police, and Store management conducted a physical search of the building after it was determined that a Police canine was almost 2 hours away. After consultation with store management they felt comfortable enough to resume store operations.

We have no information at this time that any other Wal-mart stores experienced similar circumstances.

No injuries were reported, Investigation continues.
