Camden Area Christian Food Pantry Receives 10,000 Grant

Camden, ME – January 28, 2014 -- Camden Rotary Club President Tony Bates presents a check to Jane Bennett, president of the Camden Area Christian Food Pantry, along with fellow club officers Jane Monhart and Richard Householder. The club’s grant of $10,000 is helping the food pantry support people in Camden, Rockport, Lincolnville, Hope, Appleton, Union, Washington and Searsmont. Camden Rotarians work together to help those in need by improving living conditions for people in underdeveloped countries, participating in local service projects, providing grants to charities and distributing college scholarships to deserving youth.
