SPECIAL REPRESENTATIVE FOR GLOBAL PARTNERSHIPS ANDREW O’BRIEN

Special Representative for Global Partnerships Andrew O’Brien is on foreign travel to Ireland and Northern Ireland leading a delegation as part of a new public-private State Department initiative, Partnership Opportunity Delegations (PODs). 
8:45 a.m. LOCAL Special Representative O’Brien and the delegation meet with representatives from Northern Ireland’s academic community to discuss STEM, entrepreneurship and innovation in the region, in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
11:30 a.m. LOCAL Special Representative O’Brien meets with Northern Ireland Minister for Employment and Learning Stephen Farry, in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

 Special Representative O’Brien and the delegation meet with local public and civil society organizations and startups including Northern Ireland Science Park (NISP), NISP Connect, Invest Northern Ireland, the US-NI Mentorship Program, and Young Enterprise Northern Ireland ,in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
