NEW YEAR KNITTING @ THE LIBRARY

Scarborough, Maine - The Scarborough Public Library, 48 Gorham Road, has a New Year’s resolution suggestion: Learn how to knit! And to help you keep that resolution, the Library’s Knitting Group will host an open house on Saturday, January 18, 2014 from 10:00 am to Noon. (Snow date: Saturday, January 25th.)

This welcoming group of knitters will be creating a casual “parlor style” gathering in the Library’s meeting room with refreshments, knitting samples - including items they are creating for The Maine Mitten Project  and  Scarves of Hope and Love – and a display of fiber arts books from the Library’s collection.

This program is free to attend and open to the public. Please call the Library at 883-4723 ext. 6279 with any questions. Visit the Library's website at www.scarboroughlibrary.org for information about this, and other upcoming events offered at the Scarborough Public Library.
