On December 9, 2013 at approximately 6:00 PM, a Waldo County Sheriff’s Deputy conducted a traffic stop of a Green, 1999 Subaru Forester that was operating erratically on Route 137 in the town of Knox. The operator, Jonathan Davis appeared to be under the influence of a mind altering drug. Due to his behavior, Davis was transported to Thayer Hospital in Waterville for evaluation.
During the traffic stop deputies observed several items in Davis’s Subaru they recognized as items used to manufacture methamphetamine. Davis’ vehicle was secured and towed to the Rockland Police Department pending the drafting and issuance of a search warrant.

Davis turned himself into agents in Rockland this afternoon where he was arrested without incident. Davis was transported to the Waldo County Jail where bail was set at $250.00 dollars.
During the execution of the search warrant the CDLET was assisted by the Rockland Fire Department and EMS.
The MDEA Mid-Coast District Task Force serves the communities of Knox, Waldo, Lincoln and Sagadahoc Counties.
