Portland Public Library continues Basic Computer Classes

Portland, Maine - The Portland Public Library continues to offer classes for computer beginners who would like to learn computer basics.  Basic Computer Training I is held on Tuesdays from 3:00-4:15pm and is designed for absolute beginners.  The Workshops are free but registration is required.


Basic computer Training I will cater to the needs of the students, and include instruction about how to use a mouse, keyboard, how to create word documents, and basic Internet searching. Equipment will be provided.


There is limited space available for each of these trainings and participants must register in advance at the Library’s Public Computing desk or by calling 871-1700 ext. 708.
