Searsport, Maine, December 31, 2013 – On Saturday, January 18, from 11:00 am to 1:00pm Stacey Van Dyne will give a rug hooking demonstration at Penobscot Marine Museum’s Main Street Gallery. Stacey Van Dyne has been hooking rugs since 1974 and hooked two rugs for Jamie Wyeth based on his paintings. She is the President of the Northern McGown Teacher’s Workshop, 2nd Vice President of the National Guild of Pearl K. McGown Hookrafters, and Director at Large of the North American Rug Hooking Museum.
This demonstration takes place in Penobscot Marine Museum’s Main Street Gallery, 40 East Main Street, Searsport. Events are free with $5 Gallery admission.
