Inaugural Visit of Regent Seven Seas Cruises Seven Seas Navigator in Rockland on October 16

On Wednesday, October 16, Rockland served as the host city for the inaugural cruise ship visit of the Regent Seven Seas Cruise vessel, the Seven Seas Navigator (490 passengers). This vessel’s passengers are on a New York to Montreal 10-day cruise. It  arrived in Rockland Harbor at 8am with a departure time of 2pm. This ship is the sister company to Oceania Cruises, whose vessel, the MS Regatta, has been coming to Rockland since the fall of 2011.  Although a larger vessel the Seven Seas Navigator is designed with  passenger comfort in mind providing them with spacious suites offering all the luxuries of home.


Attending a plaque exchange ceremony aboard the Seven Seas Navigator were Rockland City Manager James Smith, Camden Town Manager Pat Finnigan, Chamber Executive Director Staci Coomer, Mayor of Rockland Will Clayton, Chamber Visitor & Hospitality Services Manager Alicia Bagnall, & CruiseMaine LLC Director Amy Powers.
