2014 SEA DOGS TICKETS GO ON SALE SATURDAY

Meet Orlando Cabrera at Hadlock Field on Saturday 9-11 AM 

Portland, Maine - Single game tickets for the Portland Sea Dogs 2014 season will go on sale on Saturday, November 2nd at 9:00 AM at the Hadlock Field Box Office.  Phone & internet orders will begin at 12:00 PM.  Orlando Cabrera, a member of the 2004 World Champion Boston Red Sox team, will be at Hadlock Field from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM to meet with fans and sign free autographs.

Other events taking place on Saturday at Hadlock Field include Swing for Season Tickets, Hadlock Field Yard Sale, an appearance by Slugger, and free coffee and donuts.

Cabrera had a 15 year Major League career (1997-2011), spending time with eight Major League teams.  He has a career batting average of .272 with 123 home runs and 851 RBI.  Cabrera was acquired by the Red Sox from the Montreal Expos at the 2004 trade deadline in a four team, seven player deal.  The trade sent Nomar Garciaparra to the Cubs.  Besides Cabrera, the Sox also acquired Doug Mientkiewicz in the deal.  Cabrera hit .294 with six home runs and 31 RBI in 58 regular season games with the Red Sox in 2004.  The shortstop earned Rawlings Gold Glove Awards in 2001 and 2007.

The Sea Dogs will be giving fans the opportunity to take aim at the Maine Monster.  Fans will be allowed to take five swings from home plate; hit a home run and win a Season Ticket for the 2014 season!  Come Swing for Season Tickets!

Additionally, the Sea Dogs will be hosting a Hadlock Field Yard Sale.  Some of the items available for sale are autographed baseballs, bobbleheads, replica stadium jerseys, and much more.

All fans who purchase tickets on Saturday at the Hadlock Field Ticket Office will receive a 20% off coupon for the Sea Dogs Souvenir Store good for Saturday only.

At 12:00 PM tickets can be purchased by phone by calling 207-879-9500 or online at by visiting www.seadogs.com.

Ticket prices remain the same and are priced at $10.00 for Box seat tickets for adults, while seniors (62+) and children (16 and under) can have a Box seat for $9.00.  Other seating options include Reserved seating, available at $9.00 for adults and $8.00 for kids and seniors. General Admission seats can be obtained at the economical price of $8.00 for adults and $5.00 for kids and seniors.  Group rates are available for groups of 20 or more.

The 2014 schedule once again promises to be filled with many fun and exciting promotions. Five fireworks shows are scheduled; May 16th, June 25th, July 4th, July 23rd, and August 28th.  The popular ZOOperstars will be performing at Hadlock Field on July 11th.  The fan favorite "Field of Dreams" promotion will take place on August 31st.   The Sea Dogs have scheduled a Xander Bogaerts bobblehead doll giveaway on July 21st and a Daniel Nava bobblehead giveaway on August 12th.  More bobblehead giveaways, theme nights, celebrity appearances, and other promotional dates will be added throughout the off-season.

Season Tickets for the 2014 season are currently on sale.  Season Tickets range in price from $426.00 to $497.00 per seat and are available either on an annual basis or a three-year commitment.   A number of Five and Ten Game Ticket Packages are also available.  In addition to Season Tickets, the Sea Dogs are currently taking reservations for Skyboxes, Picnics, Birthday Parties, and other group outings.

The Ticket Office will be open 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM on Saturday, November 2nd.  After Saturday, November 2nd, ticket office hours will be Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, the Souvenir Store is open Monday through Friday 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.  Saturday hours will be added starting November 30th to accommodate holiday shoppers.

The 2014 season will be the Sea Dogs 21st and 12th as an affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.  The Sea Dogs open the 2014 season on the road in Reading, Pennsylvania on April 3rd.  The home opener is set for Thursday, April 10th at 6:00 PM against the New Britain Rock Cats.  Book your nine inning vacation!
