Thomaston, Maine - The Oceanside lady mariners soccer team hosted Caribou in a quarterfinal game that saw a lot of hard work by both teams. In the first half Caribou's Brianna Judd scored her teams first goal at the 38:37 minute remaining mark. With Caribou able to score at the 38:37 remaining mark made Oceanside work hard to score at the 38:04 and 20:32 marks by player #3, Makenna Brooks. Things changed in the second half as Caribou really showed they wanted it. Two players from Caribou were able to score 3 times to earn a 4-2 win over Oceanside. Those players able to score for Caribou in the second half were Brianna Judd (1) and Sarah Doak (3).
Oceanside lady mariners should be really proud of themselves as they represented the community well. Keep up the hard work Oceanside and come back next season better then ever.
Caribou moves to the semifinals on Saturday, November 2nd where they will take on No. 1 Waterville who defeated No. 9 Old Town 4-0 Tuesday. Great job goes out to the Caribou players who played a wonderful game.
