Sedgwick, Maine - Blue Hill Heritage Trust is offering a Children's Geology Walk at Snow’s Cove Preserve in Sedgwick on Sunday, November 3 from 1:00-2:30 p.m.
Science and environmental educator Sarah O'Malley will lead the group in looking for clues to Earth’s past and learning the story of how the rocks in the woods and at the river at Snow’s Cove came to be.
This program is appropriate for ages 6-12. There will be lots of time for exploring and for questions and answers.
Space is limited to 25 participants. Children should bring warm clothing and an adult. Please pre-register by Friday, Nov. 1 by contacting Eileen at 374-5118 or eileen@bluehillheritagetrust.org.
