in Thomaston. This game was a stalemate in the first half with neither team able to get the ball past the goalies. It wasn't until the second half when Oceanside players were able to get the ball past Gardiner's goalie. Oceanside's goalie did a great job keeping Gardiner from getting a ball in the net.
Players from Oceanside able to get the ball past Gardiner's goaile were MaKenna Brooks (3) and Emily Gould (1). Gardiner wasn't able to score during this game after a hard fought battle that resulted in a 4-0 win for Oceanside. Having said that Oceanside moves on to the quarterfinals Tuesday to play against Caribou in Thomaston. A time for this quarterfinal game will be held at 3pm.
