Bangor, Maine - Over a dozen businesses and organizations are partnering to offer discounts to early risers this Saturday, November 2nd. Many stores will be opening as early as 6am and discounts will be as high as 40% off. While some businesses are offering their discounts throughout the day, many are tapering their discounts as the day goes on.
This is the second year Downtown Bangor businesses have done the Early Bird Sale. Retailers last year reported that they had customers lined up outside their doors up to an hour before opening.
“This is a great way to get an early jump on your holiday shopping. Not only are you able to get gifts that you cannot find anywhere else, with these discounts, you can justify buying something for yourself, too” said Jason Bird, Business Development Officer and Downtown Coordinator for the City of Bangor.
