GILBERT, AZ – The Husson University field hockey team has had 14 student athletes named to the 2017 Zag Field Hockey / NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad. Over 1,700 student-athletes representing 148 schools have been selected to the Squad.
The Division III National Academic Squad program recognizes those student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2017-18 academic year.
Amber Anderson, Arika Brochu, Morgan Gray, Lauren Grocholl, Samantha Harden, Alison Leighton, Anne Marie Provencal, Shannon Ripley, Sadie Royer, Lauren Russell, Andrea Shaggy, Abigail Simmons, Karen Stemm, and Hannah Tucker are the 14 students athletes who made the team from Husson.
The Eagles will look to repeat their historical 2017 season and keep the national spotlight on Bangor, Maine.
