Rockland Police, EMS, Owls Head Fire & Knox County Sheriffs Responds To Early Morning Rollover

Owls Head, Maine - This morning at 8:19 a.m. Knox County Sheriff's Office was called to a report of a single car rollover crash on Ingraham Drive (Rt. 73) in Owls Head.  Lorraine Fowles, 52, of Owls Head was heading south in her 2007 Ford wagon.  Fowles lost control of her vehicle and overcorrected.  She crossed the northbound lane and struck an embankment causing the car to rollover on its' side.  Fowles was not injured and had no passengers.  Deputy John Hansen arrested Fowles at the scene and she was taken to the Knox County Jail.  Fowles was charged with O.U.I. and Driving to Endanger.  The car was a total loss.

Owls Head Fire, Rockland EMS, and Rockland Police assisted at the scene.
