Blackish “The Nod” Airs Tonight October 8th

Fans of the ABC series 'Blackish' will be able to watch an all new episode at 9:30pm ET/PT entitled “The Nod”. Dre sets out to expand Andre Jr’s social circle to include more black kids after he discovers Andre Jr. is clueless about “the nod.” Meanwhile, hoping to inspire little Diane to become a doctor, Rainbow takes her to work at the hospital... on what turns out to be the worst day ever.

            'Blackish' stars Anthony Anderson as Andre “Dre” Johnson, Tracee Ellis Ross as Rainbow Johnson, Yara Shahidi as Zoey Johnson, Marcus Scribner as Andre Johnson, Jr., Miles Brown as Jack Johnson, Marsai Martin as Diane Johnson and special guest star, Laurence Fishburne.

            Guest starring are Deon Cole as Charlie Telphy, Christopher Griffin as Eustace Telphy and
David L. King as Mr. Boyer.

            “The Nod” was written by Kenya Barris and directed by James Griffiths.

'Blackish' is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC’s selected HDTV format with a 5.1 channel surround sound. A TV parental guideline will be assigned closer to the airdate.
