Blue Hill, Maine - Sedgwick author and director of the World Ocean Observatory Peter Neill will read from his recent book of previously published novellas at the Blue Hill Public Library on Thursday January 16th at 7:00 PM. Peter Neill will be reading from and discussing the making of the book, entitled "3". The three novellas were first published individually in the 1970's. The event is co-sponsored by the Library and Blue Hill Books.
Mr. Neill is the Founder/Director of the World Ocean Observatory, an on-line place for exchange of information and educational services about the ocean. He also produces World Ocean Radio, which is heard Wednesdays, 7:30 am, on WERU Radio and has edited and authored numerous maritime art and history articles and books such as "American Sea Writing" and "Maritime America."
The event is free and open to the public, and will be held upstairs in the Howard Room. There will be copies of the book available for sale and autographing. For more information call Blue Hill Books -- 374-5632.
