Damariscotta, Maine - In celebration of the season, Lincoln Theater is pleased to offer a free concert of “Holiday Cheer for the Naughty and Nice” on Saturday December 21 at 3 PM at the theater in downtown Damariscotta. Hosted by Suzanne Rankin as the Christmas Fairy, the afternoon will feature The Kringle Singers, Santa and a number of special guests – including John D. Adams, Max Jordan, Elizabeth Printy, Miranda Sprague, and the Boothbay Kids Chorale – in an afternoon of seasonal favorites, Christmas classics, carol sing-alongs and other surprises.
The Kringle Singers -- Kyle Aarons, Andy Barber, Joel Biron, Nancy-Grace Dersham, Devin Dukes, Nancy Durgin, Andrew Fenniman, Emily Moore, and Stephen Wallace – have been rehearsing away on both traditional and contemporary settings of holiday standards. The duo piano team of Donner and Blitzen, otherwise known as Morton Achter and John Mulcahy, are polishing up their version of “Sleigh Ride.” Ann Foskett & Company are readying themselves for a reading of “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” It looks to be a variety show to entertain the entire family, both young and old alike.
While the concert is free and all are welcome, it will be general admission and seating will be limited. You may reserve seats in advance (563-3424) or pick up tickets directly at the theater box office at 2 Theater Street between the hours of 11am - 2pm on Tuesday - Friday. For additional information, please call the theater at 563 3424 or email info@atthelincoln.org. Come celebrate the season with music, laughter, and your neighbors at Lincoln Theater.
