The Belfast Garden Club celebrated the November 12th 90th birthday of Club member and Searsmont resident Sally Shure at its monthly meeting on October 15. Sally joined the Club in 1993 while still living in Highland Park, New Jersey. Since then, she has organized tours to the Boston Flower Show and served as Finance Chair, Parliamentarian, First Vice-President, and Design and Horticulture Committee chair. Sally is currently History and Scrapbook chair and coordinates Hannaford returnables collections. Club members gave Sally a card and gift and celebrated her big day with a bright yellow birthday cake.
