Blue Hill, Maine - Friends of Blue Hill Public Library will hold their first-Saturday-of-the-month book sale on June 1st in the Library’s basement “book nook” during regular library hours, 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.Featured in this month’s sale are fifty cent mysteries, coffee table books and plenty of summer and beach reading (yes it will get warm!). Most are only a dollar or two.
Book sale proceeds enable the Friends to sponsor many of the special programs offered at the library, for both children and adults, and to make special purchases of books, dvds, etc., and equipment for the library. Donations are welcome at any time - especially specialty books (art, cooking, poetry, etc.) - and may be left off at the library front desk. For more information, contact the Library at 374-5515.
