In the morning, the President will travel to Annapolis, Maryland. The President’s departure from the White House is open press and there will be out-of-town travel pool coverage of his arrival in Annapolis.
While in Annapolis, the President will deliver the commencement address at the United States Naval Academy. The President’s remarks are open to pre-credentialed media.
In the afternoon, the President will depart Annapolis en route Washington, DC. There will be out-of-town travel pool coverage of the President’s departure from Annapolis while the President’s arrival at the White House will be open press.
Later, the President will sign a bill designating the Congressional Gold Medal to commemorate the lives of the four young girls who were killed in Birmingham, Alabama at the 16th Street Baptist Church bombing of 1963. There will be a photo journalists pool spray of the signing in the Oval Office.
The Vice President will be in Wilmington, Delaware. There are no public events scheduled.
