Lewiston on Board with LA 101 - Residents Encouraged to Sign Up!‏

Lewiston, Maine - Several Lewiston municipal departments (along with Auburn departments) will again this year be participating in “LA 101 . . . Question, Discover, Improve,” a 10-week exploration of both Lewiston and Auburn.  The League of Young Voters Education Fund is facilitating the weekly event, which will occur from 6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. each Wednesday from February 6 – April 10.  Informative, interactive meetings will occur at several locations throughout the Twin Cities (TBA), and participants will have an opportunity to engage with elected officials, administrators, and staff to learn more about how Lewiston and Auburn operate and what makes them great places in which to live, work, do business, play, and raise a family.

The LA 101 schedule for 2013 is below, and the deadline to sign up is January 20, 2013.  The cost to participate is $15 for supplies; however, scholarships are available.
