-In the third set, the Huskies took a 17-13 edge midway through action getting a Lagando kill and ace with a sophomore outside hitter Brianna Delloiacono (Moodus, CT) kill directed from Lindsay. Taylor Rohan did her best to get her team closer as her mash assisted by Rory McMaster dropped the deficit to 19-17. A block by freshman middle blocker Sarah Haggerty (Lisbon, ME) and Lagando coupled with a rare Brochu attack error put the Huskies in the driver’s seat.
