Duplessie Collects Rookie of the Week Honor
PAWTUCKET, R.I. – University of Southern Maine men’s cross country freshman Jordan Duplessie (Caribou, ME) has been selected as the Little East Conference Rookie of the Week the league offices announced Monday afternoon.

Duplessie was the top freshman at the 2021 LEC Championship this past weekend. The newcomer finished in fourth place overall with a 26:54 time and a 5:25 mile split en route to All-LEC First Team honors. He was crucial for the no. 8 regionally-ranked Huskies as the navy and gold took home their fifth straight conference championship and eighth overall.
The Huskies will compete at the NCAA Regional Championship on Saturday, November 13th.
