Coach McKay Announces 2019 Schedule

Farmington, Maine - The University of Maine at Farmington Softball team looks to make the playoffs in the new look North Atlantic Conference. The Beavers start the season with a trip to Florida that has them playing 10 games in Clermont. (March 17th-23rd) When they return home they travel to Newbury College to play a non-conference doubleheader. (March 28th)

Conference play starts the next weekend when the Beaver play at Thomas (April 6th), and home against new conference opponent SUNY Canton. (April 7th) The following week UMF plays at Rivier, (April 10th) before continuing NAC play against another new opponent Me.-Presque-Isle.(April 13th).

The following day they travel to Colby to play a non-conference doubleheader. (April 14th) The last home game of the season will be played on April 16th against Northern Vermont-Lyndon. The Beavers then go on the road for the last nine games against Bates (April 18th), Lasell (April 19th), and Salem St. (April 23rd) After these non-conference UMF finishes NAC play against Northern Vermont-Johnson (April 25th), and in-state opponent Husson. (April 27th)

The Beavers will be lead at the plate by returning NAC Rookie of the Year catcher Kayleigh Oberg, and on the mound by Brianna McGrath.
