UNE lacrosse raises nearly $4,000 for The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital

PORTLAND, Maine -- The 11th Annual Lax-4-Life Fall Invitational hosted by the University of New England raised $3,815 for The Barbara Bush Children's Hospital (TBBCH) at Maine Medical Center. Representatives from UNE's lacrosse programs presented TBBCH with a check for the proceeds from the event on their visit to the facility this afternoon (Dec. 1).

Lax-4-Life has raised more $29,000 for TBBCH in its 11-year existence. The event, which was held at the Big Blue Turf, had the women's squad hosting teams on Sept. 24, followed by the men's portion of the event Oct. 7.
