SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. -- Two goals from Annie Mullen led the University of New England towards a 3-1 women's ice hockey decision against Saint Michael's College on Saturday afternoon (Dec. 2) at Cairns Arena.

The Nor'easters, who beat the Purple Knights by a 3-2 margin on Friday, have now won three in-a-row and are 4-2-4 overall.

Mullen opened up the scoring midway through the 1st period with her first tally of the year, with an assist by Tatum Gietl. UNE doubled the margin with just 11 seconds remaining in the 2nd, as Jessica Tolzman notched her team-leading fifth marker of the season.

Mullen pushed the lead to 3-0 with the help of Kyra Yu less than one minute into the 3rd. UNE netminder Annie Rademacher held Saint Michael's off the board until the hosts pulled the goalie for an extra skater in the last three minutes, and Arianna Boscia scored with 52 ticks left. Rademacher finished with 24 saves for her first collegiate win.

On the opposite end, Nicole Talcott denied 23 shots for the Purple Knights.

UNE will return home to entertain SUNY Canton on Friday (4 p.m.) and Saturday (2 p.m.).
