BEVERLY, Mass. -- Endicott College connected on 19 of its first 27 three-point attempts on the way to a 115-91 Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) men's basketball victory over the University of New England on Tuesday evening (Dec. 5) at MacDonald Gymnasium.

The Gulls (3-2, 2-1 CCC) never trailed in the contest, and used a 19-6 run over five minutes to gain a 30-15 advantage before the midway mark of the 1st half. Behind 64 percent (25-for-39) field goal accuracy in the period, EC held a 66-32 lead at the break. Meanwhile, the Nor'easters only made 29 percent from the floor, and just 5-of-29 from deep.

Endicott drained its initial seven shots of the 2nd, including four triples, to build an 84-38 cushion with 17:16 to go.

Matt McDevitt led the Gulls with 31 points, missing just once in his first 12 tries and racking up 28 by the early moments of the closing stanza. Keith Brown went for 22 points, while Vinny Clifford added 11 and both Russell Noonan and Joe Del Ricci chipped in with 10. Joe Shehadi secured a game-high 10 rebounds.

The hosts registered 33 assists on 43 baskets in the match.

For UNE (2-6, 1-2 CCC), Ryan Beatty drilled all four of his looks from behind the arc in the 2nd and totaled 19 points. Gavin Dibble finished with 14 points and nine rebounds. Jordan Bagshaw and Ryan Matthews contributed 13 and 12 points, respectively.

The Nor'easters return home to face Dean College in non-league action on Saturday (1 p.m.).
