BANGOR, Maine - Husson concludes North Eastern Athletic Conference East (NEAC East) regular-season play this weekend when the Eagles host Colby-Sawyer (N.H.) on Saturday at 1 p.m. ET and Massachusetts Liberal Arts on Sunday at 11 a.m. Each match will take place at the Bangor High School tennis courts.
Competing for the Eagles on each day will be Meridith Blessard, Katie Pratt, Charlotte Bednarz, Kelsey Pelletier, Elizabeth Adley and Samantha Dubay.
No live scoring will be available for either match. Admission to each match is free.
Husson, which is currently tied for second in the NEAC East, only has to win one of two matches this weekend to automatically qualify in its inaugural season for the NEAC East Tournament. The top four teams in the division will play in a one-day tournament at Colby-Sawyer on Saturday, Oct. 10, for the right to face the NEAC West Division winner in a conference championship match May 7, 2016, with that champion earning an automatic berth to the NCAA Division III National Championship.
Pratt is undefeated in singles play this year. The Eagles have not lost a doubles match all season.
