Huskies’ Women’s Soccer to Host Sixth Annual Faculty and Staff Appreciation Game
The Huskies' women's soccer student-athletes and coaching staff host this event each year as a way to express a "thank you" to the numerous people who help create the student-athlete experience at the University of Southern Maine.
"This is a chance for our student-athletes to say thank you to the numerous members of the USM community who help to make their experience a positive one," said head coach Lisa Petruccelli. "Some people influence our student-athletes directly with day-to-day contact and others individuals never or rarely meet with the student-athletes directly; however, it is important to recognize each academic department, support service, service area and administrator who has a role in creating a successful student-athlete experience. This is a small gesture for the time and efforts given to the students."
The Fan Experience Committee, comprised of members from Student Life, Aramark Dining Services, the Department of Athletics, will be on hand to with Husky Pride t-shirts and other memorabilia. Faculty and Staff are encouraged to register when they enter the field to receive a ticket for the halftime raffle. Faculty and Staff are invited to enjoy light snacks during halftime of the game.
