Oceanside JV & Varsity Girls Sweeps Erskine

Rockland, Maine - The Oceanside jv and varsity girl teams hosted Erskine on February 4th, 2015 in Rockland, Maine. These games turned out to be a sweep for the Oceanside jv and varsity teams as they played great.

In the jv game Oceanside was able to win against Erskine Academy by a score of 34-31. Oceanside scorers in this match were Jenna Conant 4 points, Bri White-Ortiz 3 free throw points, Sierra Beal 2 points, Gabby Simmons 8 points, 6 from free throws, Olivia Staples 2 free throws, Hakey Montgomery 8 points, 4 from free throws and Alexis Mazurek 7 points, 3 free throws.

Junior varsity Erskine players were Sydney Cummings 7 points, 3 free throws, Hayley Hinds 6 points, Keeley Gomes 5 points, one three pointer, Taylor McLaggan 6 points, 4 free throws, Katelyn Darveau 3 points, 1 free throw and Ally Bonsant 4 points.

The varsity game saw Oceanside winning the match by double digits against Erskine. Oceanside won
by a score of 55-30. Scorers were Ashley Gardner 6 points, Caitlin Raye 5 points, 3 free throws, Kalyn Grover 4 points, Alexis Davis 3 points, 1 free throw, Jillian Brooks 2 free throws, Makenna Brooks 12 points, 2 three pointers, Payton Billingsley 9 points, Emily Gould 2 free throws, Ari Curtis 2 free throws, Brianna Dugan 6 points and Haley Montgomery 2 points.

Erskine players that were able to score against Oceanside are Katie Gamage 6 points, Mallory Chamberlain 5 points, 1 free throws, Malorie Weaver 10 points, 2 free throws and Megan Dunn 9 points, 3 from a three pointer.
