Rockport, Maine - The Center for Maine Contemporary Art will present an ArtLab for All Ages workshop on Saturday, March 7, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at its downtown Rockport location, 162 Russell Ave. This fun, explorative workshop will feature watercolor and collage landscapes inspired by the stark beauty and subtle palette of the Maine winter and by the work of Maine artist William Thon. Participants will paint a background of winter skies and scenery and then add layers and detail with their choice of pastels, ink, and paper. Admission is free and everyone is welcome. No preregistration is required; all materials will be provided.
