Rockland Public Library: Teen Book Talk Kickoff Party on Saturday, February 28

Rockland, Maine - The Rockland Public Library is looking for teens who have read a really good book and are just dying to talk about it. The Library is launching a brand new section to the library website where teens can post their own recorded book talks. Others will be able to listen to the recommendations and find new books for themselves!

To celebrate, the Library is having a kickoff party for teens on Saturday, February 28th from 1-3. Teens who attend the party will have a chance to record their own book talks, up to two minutes in length. For every two book talks recorded a $5 gift card to Amazon.com is earned, while supplies last. Teens should either come prepared to record a book talk or just to learn more about the process. There will also be free pizza, games, and a movie in the Community Room! Ages 12-18 invited.

Please call the Library at 594-0310 for more information. The Library is located at 80 Union St.
