Bangor, Maine - For the second year in a row, Eastern Maine Community College will hold its Maine Trivia Tournament, a community event and fundraiser for the college’s foundation. It will take place on Friday, March 13th, from 5-9pm in the college’s Johnston Gymnasium.
The tournament will include twelve rounds of increasingly difficult trivia questions covering sports, entertainment, politics, science, and the state of Maine. The winning team will walk away with $500 cash.
Registration for one team of 3-5 players is $150. Teams can sign up online via www.emcc.edu/trivia .
The event is also open for public attendance, by donation only, for those interested in watching the
tournament and supporting their friends, family, or co-workers who are competing. There will be free food catered by EMCC and a cash bar.
All proceeds from the Maine Trivia Tournament will benefit the EMCC Foundation, which promotes, encourages, and supports, financial or otherwise, all educational activities at Eastern Maine Community College.
