Writing a Summer Memoir in South Thomaston

Writing a Summer Memoir in South Thomaston
Registration Ends July 25

Oh, those summer nights! We all have our own special memories of summer. The retreat center at 26 Split Rock Cove in South Thomaston is offering a one-day memoir writing workshop on Saturday, August 2nd. Registration ends July 25th.

Grandpa’s farm. The summer you first fell in love. Summer camp.  Beaches and sand castles. Late nights and trouble making. Even one summer can be the basis for a memoir book or a collection of stories to share with family, friends, and perhaps the greater public.

In this workshop personal historian and memoir teacher, Meghan Vigeant, will guide participants through writing prompts and share some summery nostalgia to help revive those memories. She’ll share resources and tips for turning scribbles on paper into printed and published books. Weather permitting, class will be held outdoors. To register or for more information visit www.26splitrockcove.com or call Sandy at (207) 596-7624.
