Traffic Sensors to be Installed in Vassalboro

Vassalboro, Maine - Crews will be installing traffic sensors in the pavement at the intersection of Route 201 and the north junction of the Cushnoc Road in Vassalboro on Monday, July 28th.

The project begins 1500ft. south of the Cushnoc Road and 1,000ft. north of the Cushnoc Road.

Alternating one-way traffic will be controlled by flaggers while the work is performed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This project supports the Traffic Monitoring Program which provides the number of vehicles utilizing the highway throughout the year as well as changes in traffic patterns.
