Deputy Secretary Burns is on travel to Vienna, Austria from Tuesday, July 1 through Friday, July 4 in connection with the P5+1 talks.

DEPUTY SECRETARY HEATHER HIGGINBOTTOM
12:00 p.m.  Deputy Secretary Higginbottom meets with Paraguayan Foreign Minister Eladio Loizaga, at the Department of State.

USAID ADMINISTRATOR RAJ SHAH
Administrator Shah is on travel to Zambia from July 1 through July 3 as a part of a U.S. delegation headed by Dr. Jill Biden and Ambassador Russell.  Their travel will highlight how girls’ education and women’s participation in government, the economy, and civil society can accelerate economic development, improve health and educational outcomes, strengthen democratic governance, and foster peace and security.

UNDER SECRETARY FOR POLITICAL AFFAIRS WENDY SHERMAN

Counselor Shannon meets with Singaporean Ambassador to the U.S. Kumar Mirpuri, in Washington, DC.
10:00 a.m.  Counselor Shannon meets with Salvadoran Foreign Minister Hugo Martinez, 
Guatemalan Foreign Minister Fernando Carrera, Honduran Foreign Minister Mireya Aguero de Corrales, at the Department of State.
11:15 a.m.  Counselor Shannon meets with U.S. Ambassador to Chile Mike Hammer, at the Department of State.
12:15 p.m.  Counselor Shannon attends a meeting at the White House.
2:15 p.m.  Counselor Shannon attends a meeting at the White House.

ACTING ASSISTANT SECRETARY FOR CONSULAR AFFAIRS MICHELE BOND
Acting Assistant Secretary Bond is on travel to Mexico through July 3. While in Mexico she will meet with government counterparts to discuss consular affairs and deliver remarks at the New Consulate Compound Dedication Ceremony in Monterrey, Mexico.


ASSISTANT SECRETARY FOR WESTERN HEMISPHERE AFFAIRS ROBERTA JACOBSON

  Assistant Secretary Jacobson joins Counselor Shannon in a meeting with Salvadoran Foreign Minister Hugo Martinez,

 Assistant Secretary Jacobson participates in the Twenty-Eighth Meeting of Consultation of Ministers of Foreign Affairs at the Organization of American States, in Washington, DC.


ASSISTANT SECRETARY FOR POPULATION, REFUGEES AND MIGRATION ANNE CLAIRE RICHARD 

3:00 p.m.  Assistant Secretary Richard meets with Embassy of Israel Deputy Head of Mission Reuven Azar, at the Department of State.
4:00 p.m.  
Assistant Secretary Richard meets with Kurdish Minister and Head of the Department of Foreign Relations of the Kurdistan Regional Government Falah Mustafa Bakir, at the Department of State.


AMBASSADOR-AT-LARGE FOR GLOBAL WOMEN’S ISSUES CATHERINE RUSSELL

Ambassador Russell is on travel to Zambia, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Sierra Leone from June 30 through July 7 as a part of a U.S. delegation headed by Dr. Jill Biden and Administrator Shah. During their travel, Dr. Biden, Administrator Shah, and Ambassador Russell will highlight how girls’ education and women’s participation in government, the economy, and civil society can accelerate economic development, improve health and educational outcomes, strengthen democratic governance, and foster peace and security.
